Using Sidefolk
Sidefolk is provided by Marcin Jędrzejak. These terms describe use of the app and its website. The app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, linked below. For questions about Sidefolk, contact maartinjdev@gmail.com.
Requirements and availability
The app requires a compatible iPhone with iOS 27, Apple Intelligence support, and prepared models. Availability depends on your device, language, region, and Apple settings. Local conversations can work offline; Private Cloud Compute, purchases, and model downloads require internet access. Your carrier’s connection charges may apply.
AI responses and your decisions
AI responses may be incorrect, incomplete, or outdated. Verify important information before relying on it and review tool actions such as creating events or reminders. Sidefolk does not replace medical, legal, financial, or emergency assistance. Agent names and personalities do not imply professional qualifications.
Free features and Pro
Some features are free; others require active Pro access. Price, subscription period, any trial, and renewal terms are displayed before purchase. Apple handles billing and automatic renewal under the purchase terms. Manage or cancel your subscription in Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests go to Apple; your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Content and permitted use
Only provide content you have the right to use. Use the app lawfully and respect other people’s rights. App code, branding, and materials are protected by intellectual property law. Apple’s license governs restrictions on copying or modifying the app, subject to exceptions permitted by law. I do not guarantee exclusivity or ownership rights in AI-generated responses.
Privacy and Apple services
The Privacy Policy explains data handling. You choose system permissions and the AI mode. App Store and Apple Intelligence use is also subject to Apple’s terms. Protect your device and backups; deleting local data may make conversations unrecoverable.
Updates and responsibility
Features may change with updates to the app or Apple services. I cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free AI results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. Apple’s agreement also sets out applicable licensing and liability provisions.
